Courtyard Chicago St. Charles Hotel Saint Charles, Saint Charles

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were clean and cozy, and the staff, especially Priscilla and Cameron on the night shift, were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The location was convenient for all my needs, and the proximity to the stairs made it easy for quick trips outside. However, the breakfast options left something to be desired, and there was an unexpected $800 charge for a standard room. Nonetheless, the overall experience was great.

For around $800 for a 2-night stay in a standard room, I found the hotel to be a great value for money. The room had a slight moldy smell but was otherwise immaculate, spacious, and comfortable, offering a very professional setting at a reasonable rate. The service brought a smile to my face every day, with all special requests happily accommodated. On the downside, there was one instance where the staff just watched me struggle without offering assistance. The location was very convenient for my needs, central to everywhere I needed to go and surrounded by many stores and restaurants. The dining experience was a real letdown with poor options, especially for breakfast. Overall, a positive stay with a couple of minor hiccups.
